Our Story
The Foundation of Trust Roofing
Founder, Tommy Scherer, started roofing back in 1978 in California. He spent years working as a contractor for numerous companies around Hollywood, CA, and eventually in the early 80s began working with manufacturers of hot tar and shingle roofing materials, he eventually started his own company in the 80s.
Home of the Flat Roof Experts
After many years of experience in the industry, Tommy learned about single ply commercial roofing and made it an integral part of his business. The company became known as âFlat Roof Expertsâ because of the numerous high profile TPO and PVC installs.
Sunshine Legacy
The family eventually moved to Tampa, Florida and started a second branch of the company. Today, Tommyâs son, Robin, has taken the reins as CEO, continuing the family legacy. Robin started roofing when he was 15 years old and learned and practiced all aspect of proper roofing installation.
