Trust Roofing was proud to return for the third year sponsoring the Kids Zone and the Jolly Trolley at the annual Safety Harbor Art & Seafood on the Waterfront Festival in Safety Harbor. The two-day waterfront event brought together families, local businesses, artists, and seafood lovers for a weekend of community fun along the bay.
As part of our continued commitment to supporting local events, Trust Roofing helped create a lively Kids Zone where families could relax, play, and enjoy activities throughout the festival.
Family Fun in the Trust Roofing Kids Zone
The Kids Zone was packed with activities designed to keep kids entertained all weekend long. Families enjoyed:
- Sand art activities
- A live caricature artist
- Painting stations
- Volleyball and soccer games
- Interactive activities and outdoor games
The area quickly became a hub for families looking for fun between the art exhibits and seafood vendors.
Trust Roofing also had its equipment and our Trash Rocket trailer on display, giving visitors a chance to see some of the tools and technology we use on job sites every day.
The Trust Roofing Jolly Trolley
One of the most popular features of the weekend was the Trust Roofing Jolly Trolley, which helped transport festivalgoers while adding a fun experience to the event.
Warehouse team member Patrick Patricio rode the trolley throughout the festival, greeting guests and handing out Trust Roofing goodie bags.
Patrick shared his excitement about the event:
“Hello, my name is Patrick Patricio. You guys are going to have fun, meet people, enjoy the festival, and make sure everybody has a great time at the Safety Harbor festival with Trust Roofing.”
Talking Roofing With the Community
In addition to sponsoring activities, the Trust Roofing team had booths set up with roofing samples and materials, giving visitors a chance to ask questions about different roofing options.
Many homeowners stopped by to learn about metal roofing and specialty roofing materials, including:
- Stone-coated metal roofing
- Standing seam metal panels
- GAF shingles
- Specialty decking materials
Our team enjoyed answering questions and helping homeowners understand the benefits of different roofing systems.
One of our roofing consultants, Daniel, shared his perspective on metal roofing at the event:
“I sell more stone-coated metal than almost anything else because it’s a different type of product. You get really great curb appeal similar to tile, and you also get a big warranty. Some of these systems have warranties up to 60 years.”
A Great Weekend for the Community
Trust Roofing had many staff members volunteer and attend the event, helping run activities, talk with residents, and support the festival throughout the weekend.
Our sales representative Dallas Fikar also enjoyed the event’s VIP experience and shared how well the festival was organized and attended.
Trust Roofing CEO Robin Scherer summed up the atmosphere perfectly:
“This is really, really cool. We’ve got volleyball, soccer, caricatures, sand art, and all of our roofing samples on display. We’re talking with people about their roofing needs and just having an absolute blast.”
